My 3 y.o. has a wicked sense of humor. Or maybe he's just plain wicked. Yesterday I was carrying my baby inside from the car when he dropped his binkie. I asked #3 to please pick up the binkie for me. "No." "Will you please?" I asked ever so kindly. So he bends over and picks it up, then he dips it in a pile of dirt before handing it over. Maybe I should have been mad, but I had to keep myself from laughing. What a stinker! I gotta love him.

I am really liking reading everyone's 8 things. I think I'll have to write my own someday, when it's not past my bed time. Or maybe I can't wait.
1- I am a spelling freak. I find typo's everywhere in books, on signs... and I want to fix them.
2- Although I like my sleep, I really enjoy waking up early and going outside. It is like my own secret world while everything is so quiet and the sky is so beautiful. It makes me feel so grateful for the beautiful world we live in.
3- I really want to go to college and get a degree, even though I'm little scared of how hard it might be.
4- I dreamed about Ethan before he was born.
5- I made John propose to me when he had only been home from his mission a few days.
6- I despise spandex on any man.
7- I can't stand easy listening stations, but I really like good classical music.
8- When I am cold, my nose gets cold and never seems to warm up. Maybe I should invent a nose warmer.

without guile
My three y.o. innocently asks me after he's had his new sibling home from the hospital for a while: "Mom, can we keep him in the garage?"

the versatile vacuum cleaner
I Have discovered that vacuums, while good at cleaning cheerios out of carpet, can double as a muffler for the sounds of fighting children.

f.d.s. runs rampant
It has come to my attention that a disease, which I shall call F.D.S. (no, not feminine deodorant spray) has run rampant through much of the community. It is responsible for many bad smells, including flatulance and stinky diapers. Fecal Denial Syndrome is what causes one to hesitate at the first whiff of a soiled diaper, and say to yourself, "that smell must be coming from someone else's child". I feel it is my duty to the public at large to get this information out and say, in behalf of all our noses, it is time to do your duty and change that doodee.
Sincerely,
