Last year, I had a bit of fun getting creative with an April Fool's Day dinner. I made little meatloaves in cup cake liners, topped with colored mashed potatoes to look like cup cakes. I also put red jello into drinking glasses, letting it set up in them, to look like punch. I enjoyed watching my kids reactions so much, that I decided to do it again this year- and I made a photo documentary to go along with it.
